![]() ![]() Folks? The first year is already over and they honestly don't know how much it made? And they're making predictions for how much it will bring in in the future "first year?" Easley and his pal, the director of the lottery (with a salary of well over $100k a year), said the lottery could earn up to $350 million in it's first year. ![]() After 365 days, the lottery has brought in $220 million. Easley, the calculations showed I owed $5,320 in state taxes, and that's about $10, so I'll pay that.īefore the lottery was passed (under VERY suspicious circumstances), Easley again and again claimed it would bring in $400 million for education (that's a complete and total lie, but that's another story). Do you suppose I can do that with my taxes? Gee, Mr. And I don't know how in the world you can take just over half of something and call it a whole something. In a sane, rational world, that's actually only $602,739 a day. $220 million stolen taken "collected" by the lottery in 1 year = about $1 million a day. Take this wonderful math done by North Carolina governor Mike Easley: It really is hard to understand liberals because you honestly have to suspend belief in the entire physical world around you. Well, okay, almost every time I see or think about them I wonder. Sometimes I really wonder about politicians. ![]() In prison you can put things up on your prison walls to look at and to entertain you. In prison there are wardens who are often sadistic.
